Just so you know, I will be 65 years old and most probably will not remember anything that I write here.
Going 50 years into the future, the world will still be round, and there will still be some flat earthers.
Viewing the current rate of evolution, the world, after 5 decades, will be at the peak of advancement. However, I do not think it will reach as far as flying cars or time machines. I believe that transport and travelling will have progressed the most and the availability of different modes of transportation for the people will be trouble-free and secure. With technological advancements, life for the common man will be generally easier.
The world might develop negatively. For instance, we might have to deal with the aftereffects of climate change. In just half a century, the world might be on the brink of collapse from overpopulation, pollution and all the destruction that we humans cause.
But let’s take an optimistic look. All our tasks would be done by Artificial Intelligence. Education will be more widespread and utterly different from what it is now. The concept of books would be mostly eradicated, and digital learning prioritized. From juvenility, children will be experts in using advanced gadgets. Fashion, too, will have had drastic changes that I have no desire to imagine.
In conclusion, the world’s condition depends on what choices we make now; if we cease destroying the planet, then life might be a lot easier than it is presently. Still, suppose we continue to live the way we do. In that case, we might see each other wearing bulky, protective suits and carrying portable oxygen tanks as we trudge through rubble and earth scouting for food.
