Once upon a time, there was a prince named Alex, who was the fattest boy in the whole kingdom. He was normal before, but because of an unknown disease, his weight had rapidly increased, and he became fat. He tried every possible way to cure his condition but failed. As a result, he became very sad. Now his friends and some kingdom people had started making fun of him. Behind his back, they called him the fat and ugly prince Alex. Wherever he went, he was stared at strangely. His friends also left him because of his fatness. He always felt embarrassed. When his father King Robert got to know people’s behaviour towards him, the King got furious. He ordered every person in the kingdom to eat more and look fat so that no one would dare make fun of the prince. Alex tried to stop the King’s order, but all in vain. He also ordered the guards to throw everyone who was not following his orders outside the kingdom. Afraid of the King, most people started eating more food to save themselves from the King’s punishment. Some people in the kingdom were poor and couldn’t afford to eat more, so the guards provided extra food for them. Every week, the guards started to measure everyone\’s weight.
The people whose weights were not increased had to give up their houses. After a year, everyone in the kingdom was overweight. But now, King Robert’s daughter had become a princess, and she had started feeling odd for whoever she saw in the kingdom looked chubby, even her friends. The princess told her brother that she also wanted to look like everyone. Her brother told us it was a punishment given by their father to the kingdom’s people, not them. However, the princess didn’t listen to her brother, for she was keen to look like her friends. Soon, the princess also started eating more. Her father and brother tried everything to stop her, but all in vain. Then, after some time, the princess got very ill due to overeating. Finally, the King realized his mistake and apologized to his people. The people also apologized for their mistake of making fun of the young prince rather than advising him. At last, the orders were withdrawn, and everyone became happy and healthy in a few months.
