Never Lie To Your Mother, And Never Trust Strangers Blindly

Once, there lived a family of four members: Malaika, her two brothers ÔÇô Saqib and Aqib ÔÇô and their mother in a house surrounded by plants and greenery. Saqib and Aqib were intelligent, while Malaika was not as good as her brothers in her study. She kept crying over her feeble-mindedness, thinking she could not do anything as her classmates did. Thus, she started looking for shortcuts to finish her homework rather than studying hard.┬á

One day, Malaika, with a sad face, was sitting in the playground of the school during lunchtime, where all students were busy with games. Then, suddenly, one of the students- Shan- came and asked, “Do you like ice cream, Malaika?”

“Yes! Why not,” Replied Malaika.┬á

After having a good talk with her, he listened to her problem. Shan said, “I can solve your problem if you give me some money to complete your homework.”┬á

On the second day, she went to her mother and said, “Mama, I want some money to buy a drawing book from a book shop near my school”. So mother gave her a hundred rupees and said, “Dear, let me know if you need something”.┬á

In the morning, she woke up early excitedly since her problem was going to be solved. Again she met Shan and gave all money to him.

He said,” You sit here. I will come back tomorrow”. But, unfortunately, he disappeared and never came back to help her.

That evening, she cried in front of her mother and said, “Mama, I’m a bad girl. I lied to you because I could not do homework on time. So, I asked you for money to get my homework done by one of my schoolfellows. However, the boy took all the money and never came back.”

Mother understood her problem; she called her sons and asked all her kids, ÔÇ£How good a child is who doesn’t lie to anyone is in our religion”. Children nodded, “No! Tell us about it”. Their mother politely said, “Our Prophet (PBUH) has stated, ÔÇ£Whoever abandons lying that is falsehood, a house will be built for him in the surroundings of Paradise”. She continued, “My dear children, ┬áif you lie, you will not allow going there because it is a bad habit, and nobody will like you. Therefore, we should talk to each other sincerely and communicate clearly so we can solve your problems mutually.”

Moral

A stranger can take benefit and make you a lousy human, so never lie to your family.
