This story is written by Shan e Maryam, a student of class 4.
Once upon a time, a little girl named Jessie bought a doll, and she named her doll┬á”Dolly”. The doll’s feet and face were on opposite sides to each other. The next day when Jessie went to school, the doll started doing magic in her house. Her mom, by chance, found out about the doll’s irregular activities. When her mom tried to inform others, the doll ate her, making her a ghost. When Jessie came back from school, she couldn’t find her mom anywhere. She looked upstairs, in the basement, and outside but found her mom nowhere.
So, she decided to ask her dad. She went up to him and said, “Dad, do you know where is mom?”
Her dad replied, “I don’t know, child. I’m also looking for her.”
Suddenly, they saw the doll walking towards them, singing, “La la la la, I have made your mom a ghost, and now it’s your turn!”
Jessie got scared, and her dad immediately picked up the doll and threw her outside the window.
Surprisingly, the doll came flying back moments later and ate Jessie too. Then, Jessie’s mom’s ghost came from the attic and said to Jessie’s dad, “Hoo hoo I’ll have to eat you!”
And before he could run away, he was also made a ghost.
Now, the three ghosts, led by Dolly, went into the lounge, and Dolly started briefing them on what they should do next. She said that if they obeyed her orders, she would set them free, and they could go back to their human forms, but if they didn’t, they would be punished and taken to Dolly’s horror world.
The family of ghosts got scared and asked, “Wh- what do we have to do?”
The doll said, “Jessie, you have to turn 10 people into ghosts.”
Turning to Jessie’s mom and dad, she said, “And you have to turn 50 people each into ghosts within the next 24 hours.”
All three flew out the window immediately and returned after 24 hours, having turned 110 people into ghosts altogether. The doll was very happy and turned them back into people. But it was such a horrifying experience for them that they had nightmares of it for the rest of their lives.
As for Dolly, she returned to the market to get resold to find her new target. So, if you ever encounter a scary doll with her face and feet in opposite directions, beware, for it might be Dolly.
