What Makes a Storyious Story
We look for stories that are
- Original
- Completely written by you; no copying, spinning, or AI-generated drafts
- Genre-Appropriate
- Whether it's a soft bedtime fable, a moral lesson, or a scary mystery, the tone and structure should fit the intended category
- Imaginative
- Rich with unique characters, settings, or ideas
- Meaningful
- Contain an emotional pulse or insight, even in humorous or fictional formats
- Accessible
- Clear language, solid structure, and age-appropriate vocabulary when needed
- Concise
- Ideally between 700 – 900 words; impactful without being overwhelming

What We Kindly Say No To
- Graphic violence or horror for the sake of cheap thrills
- Adult/romantic, explicit, or suggestive themes
- Preachy writing that overshadows story flow
- AI-generated drafts or reused content
- Excessively complex language or plots that confuse instead of entertain
- Any form of plagiarism
Steps to Join
- Step 1 – Submit Your Profile
- Send us your details, degree proof, writing samples, and a link to your social media profile.
- Step 2 – Verification Process
- Our editorial team will review your profile within 5–7 business days to ensure it aligns with our mission and standards.
- Step 3 – Join the Storyious Family
- Upon approval, you’ll be invited to join our writer community and contribute stories across genres.
Story Submission Guidelines
- When submitting your first story
- Include your full name, degree, and profile credentials
- Your story should be 700-900 words
- Attach relevant, high-quality visuals that are original or licensed
- Submit work that adheres to all Storyious Policies and Writing Rules
- Avoid submitting content previously published or written by AI
