Ali and Ahmed were two best friends, classmates, and neighbours. Ali was a sensible boy, while Ahmed was a bit mischievous and careless. They always sat together, played, and had lunch. One day, while having lunch, Ali threw the useless envelopes into the trash, but Ahmed threw them on the ground. Ali advised Ahmed to throw the extra waste in the dustbin as debris might hurt the living beings, but Ahmed ignored this. One day, his school announced a beach picnic. All the children were thrilled. Ali and Ahmed also went there and enjoyed themselves a lot. They built a sand castle and played with each other. While having lunch on the beach, Ahmed repeated the same habit. He threw the wrappers and juice bottles on the beach.
Afterwards, as they were walking on the beach, they found a turtle with a plastic bottle stuck in its leg. It made it difficult for the turtle to swim. Embarrassed, the boys went forth, helped the turtle out and released it into the sea. Ali then said to Ahmed, “See how a plastic bottle and waste wrappers affect sea creatures?” Ahmed felt ashamed and promised to never litter again.
Moral
Always dispose of waste items in the trash, for they create pollution that hurts other creatures.
