Once upon a time, there lived two twins brother and sister, named Asif and Neha. They lived with their father in the town who earned his living working as a woodcutter, and at the same time, he also looked after his lovely children because their mother passed away in their childhood. One day, the father decided to spend some quality time with his children. So, he planned to go on a family picnic for a hike. “Yeah! We are going out camping,” said Neha excitingly after listening to her father’s plan. On a cold winter night, they gathered their stuff for the picnic, and on the very next morning, they all started travelling toward their campsite. They travelled throughout the whole day and saw long roads, giant trees, mesmerizing viewpoints, and beautiful gardens there. At night, they stopped by a forest for camping and started pitching their tent on one side.
While Asif was doing this, his father went out to collect wood for the fire. After finishing all the necessary tasks, they sat inside the tent, waiting for their father and hoping that he would come back, but he did not. When the night got darker, the horrible sounds of all the wild animals in the forest started to echo louder. After hearing the horrifying sounds, Neha started crying, and her hopeful brother confronted her by saying, “Please, do not worry, Neha, we will soon find our father.” Lost kids with almost no food wandered around the forest the whole night searching for their father till the Sun rose. While roaming here and there, they found a beautiful house at some distance. They hurriedly ran towards it and banged on the door. Immediately, a voice came from inside the house,\” Who is there around my house?”
Suddenly, the door was unlocked and half opened by a sweet old lady. The innocent kids told her whole story. She felt terrible for the kids and let them into her house. She took care of the kids in the absence of their father by feeding them some food and providing them with a cosy bed for a nap. When they woke up later, they saw their father standing in front of them in the room. “Father!” both screamed and hugged their father. “Where were you?” said Neha, and Asif said, “We searched you the whole night”. Seeing his kids, the father was full of tears of joy and affection. He replied politely, “Something tragic happened to me last night, that’s why I could not come back”, and further explained to his kids, “There was a massive trench dug by the hunter to catch and trap wild animals, and I accidentally fell into that trench. I struggled hard to come out of it but could not make it. As a result, I was compelled to spend the night there. In the early morning, the hunter arrived and helped me to get out of that trench. I rushed back quickly, but you both were not there in the camp. After searching the whole day, I saw this house in the evening. I rushed here to check out, and finally, I found you both.” Neha and Asif heard all this with heavy hearts. ” Father! Let us go home. I have no energy left for camping”, said Neha. “Alright!” said her father. After the consensus, they left the old lady’s house by saying thanks to her for her hospitality. In the end, they stepped out of the woods and reached home safely with their father happily.
