Once in a city, there lived two sisters, Simal and Kinza. Simal was very wicked, but Kinza was very sincere and also the elder one. Habitually, Simal annoyed Kinza and kept on doing things that made Kinza feel unpleasant. For instance, Simal hid Kinza’s art and science books, used to eat the food that Kinza craved for, and played loud music during Kinza’s reading and learning time. One day, both sisters went to the pool to swim. Suddenly, Simal kicked Kinza into the swimming pool. At that time, she became very mad with her little sister. She decided not to talk to her again.” I am hurt, don’t come to me”, Kinza denied playing with her and asked her to go away in a scolding manner. At the same time, Simal realized that she did wrong and tried to amend her behaviour, but Kinza’s attitude remained the same. Then, Simal gave up and went outside to play all alone without any joy, kicking balls on the wall and making drawings without her elder sister.
On the other hand, Kinza also watched her from the window as she played on her own. Then, Kinza thought, “Whatever Simal has done is nasty, but she has also apologized to me. Why have not I forgiven her?” This affected both sisters in such a way that they started living quite dissatisfied and all alone. Kinza realized she had become ruthless, which triggered a guilty feeling in her heart. Later, her heart melted, and she began to miss playing with her sister. But she was also worried inherently whether her sister would forgive her for her unconcerned behaviour or not. With a lot of ambiguity in her mind, Kinza went outside and talked to Simal apologetically, “I am sorry. Please, forgive me”. Simal said in a very confirming way, “Yes, I have forgiven you. I thought you were mad at me”. “No, I have now realized the power of forgiveness, as it makes everyone happy. Whereas anxiety leaves you with nothing but loneliness,” said Kinza. In the end, they forgave and embraced each other with tears in their eyes and lived happily ever after with a new lesson that putting the past behind and making today better is worth it.
